Messiah was to come to earth as the Son of God. To bear the image of God, to witness to all humanity about God the Father. And Yeshua was the fulfillment of that as stated in 1 Timothy 3: 16 (KJV). (1)

Yeshua was the visible image of the invisible God. In the image of the Son, He came to shed light on the image of God. To put a face on Him. To guide people back to the Heavenly Father. To remind them that Yahweh is their Father in Heaven. He came to show the new covenant through which we were adopted unto God. Adopted to become His daughters and sons. Now we were not orphans anymore. As He came to put a face on God, we are to put a face on Yeshua (2).
Through our good works, we showcase the heart of the Father to the rest of the world, to a dying world that is in desperate need of His light and life. And we witness of His goodness, glory, and power.
