In His Perfect Image
 

It was in the darkness of the land of Galilee that the Messiah’s ministry was to begin. There, the people of Galilee were to see a great light - the Light of God.

The feasts of the LORD are appointed festivals, or, as Pastor Craig Hill likes to say, appointed times of the Lord that the Israelites were called to observe. 

A prophetic message is authentically prophetic only if it comes from the Heart of God, magnifies the Lord Jesus Christ and challenges hearers to greater obedience.

Messiah was to be a witness to the people of the true image of God as King and Commander of Israel. Their ruler and even judge who goes to war with His people

Messiah was to come bearing the good news, “Your God reigns!”. He will proclaim the victory over death and sin. Over sickness and sorrow. Give a message of hope.

Messiah was to proclaim the acceptable time of grace, when salvation would be available from God. After Yeshua's death and resurrection that salvation was secured.

Prophets are considered as the voices of God. Messiah was to be one. One who would hear and speak forth what God speaks. A mouthpiece for God and His ways.

Messiah was to bring the message of the new covenant to Israel—the new covenant of repentance and forgiveness of all sins. Yeshua fulfilled the assignment.

Messiah was to bring good tidings of freedom, liberty, wealth, and a release from bondage and prison. It was to be the healing balm to the weary. And Yeshua did.

Yahweh was to send a messenger before the Messiah to prepare the way. To prepare the way for the message to be well received. And so came John the Baptist.

The Messiah was to be a prophet like Moses, save Israel like Moses did, be God's spokesman in delivering Israel from Egypt, and showcase the Most High's true power.

The fullness of the Holy Spirit was to be upon the Messiah with the following attributes: wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord.

Physical beauty was not what attracted people to Yeshua, especially after the crucifixion. It was His character and personality, his relatability, and obedience.

Altogether lovely was to be the Messiah. Full of grace and truth that would set people free from bondage. His words and promises are considered as sweet kisses.

Messiah was to pour the Spirit of Supplication, the Spirit of Prayer, upon Jerusalem. The House of the Most High was always meant to be a House of prayer.

Holy is the Lord Almighty. Messiah was to be Holy, too. He was to have power according to the Spirit of Holiness—power over all others as the Son of the Most High.

Messiah was to pour the Spirit of Grace upon Jerusalem. It would awaken the people, awaken their souls. Awaken them to the realization of who the Messiah was and is.

Goodness is a unique character of Yahweh. This goodness was to be the character of the Messiah. He was to show us the character of Yahweh through His good deeds.

Messiah was to speak words of grace and truth. Empowering words that would heal, deliver, and set people free. The written word in itself can not deliver.

Anointed as the Ruler above all was the Messiah. He was to be the King over all the Earth. The one to whom all belongs, the chosen one from the chosen nation.
